Kingdom of the Cliff King - award-winning hiking route on Møn

 1 hiking day - 1 overnight stay

14 km

  Three starting points

Kingdom of the Cliff King is the first hike on Zealand and the islands to be approved according to the certification system – Premium Hiking by the Deutsches Wanderinstitut. The German organization has established Europe's most widespread – and strictest – quality system for hiking routes, where only the best routes pass through the eye of a needle.

Kingdom of the Cliff King is located in some of the most hilly nature in Denmark, and you should therefore set aside plenty of time, and preferably be in moderate to good shape to complete the hike. Set aside at least 6 hours to cover the 14 km, including altitude and the stairs with the many steps from the beach.

Hiking and Møns Klint go together. On Møn, you can't avoid Møns Klint and the part that is popularly called Høje Møn. Here the cliff rises to a height of 128 meters and is 7 km long. From Tiendegaarden's fields, you can clearly see how the cliff area behind it rises. The cliff ends abruptly with fantastic chalk cliffs, which are not completely safe and are forbidden to walk on. However, it is allowed to look and follow the safe and well-marked paths.
